He later held senior leadership roles in global hotel development at Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group, leading expansion and luxury brand growth across the Americas.
Today, through Chapter II – Travel and Hospitality, he channels that experience into a focused boutique platform.
Based in Miami, Chapter II designs highly tailored journeys built around each client’s interests — from culturally immersive itineraries and remote landscapes to culinary exploration and private access experiences.

In 1980, Marcos founded Sharontur Passagens e Turismo in São Paulo, establishing a travel company built on relationships, integrity, and personal commitment.
For 37 years, the business operated as a trusted partner for families seeking meaningful and well-structured international travel experiences, closing only with the passing of Marcos.
Chapter II is the continuation of this legacy, carrying forward its values of trust, personal connection, and thoughtfully designed travel into a new and enduring chapter
