IMPERIAL MOROCCO & THE SAHARA - ITINERARY

DAY 1 — Arrival in Marrakesh

DAY 1 — Arrival in Marrakesh

A private transfer awaits upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, escorting you to your riad in the heart of the medina. After time to settle in, step out for a first introduction to the city, moving through its narrow streets where artisans continue long-established crafts.


By late afternoon, reach Jemaa el-Fna. From a rooftop terrace, observe the square as it gradually comes to life, accompanied by a traditional mint tea.


Tomorrow, the journey moves beyond the city, crossing the High Atlas toward Morocco’s southern landscapes

DAY 2 — Marrakech – Dades

DAY 3 —Dades – Merzouga Desert

DAY 1 — Arrival in Marrakesh

Depart Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The route reveals shifting scenery, with time for brief stops along the way.


Continue to Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah, before passing through Ouarzazate and along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs. Arrive in the Dades region by late afternoon. Here the landscape opens and the pace settles.


The following day continues deeper south, toward desert landscapes and a more elemental setting.

Leave the Dades region after breakfast, traveling through Berber villages toward Todra Gorges. Pause for a walk between the canyon walls before continuing toward Erfoud.


By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga. Cross the dunes to your desert camp as the light softens, followed by dinner and an evening under open skies.


At first light, the journey begins again, turning north toward the Middle Atlas.

DAY 4 — Merzouga – Fes

Depart early, following the route through the Ziz Valley, where palm groves and fortified villages mark the landscape. Continue toward Midelt and into the Middle Atlas.


Pass through cedar forests near Azrou and stop briefly in Ifrane before arriving in Fes by late afternoon.


Tomorrow is reserved for Fes, explored at a slower and more deliberate pace.

DAY 5 — Fes Guided Exploration

The day is dedicated to Fes. Enter the medina and move through its narrow streets, visiting historic madrasas, artisan quarters, and traditional markets.


Pause within the medina for lunch before continuing through its layered neighborhoods, where craft and daily life remain closely intertwined.


The journey then turns west, linking imperial cities and Atlantic influences.

DAY 6 — Fes – Rabat

Depart Fes after breakfast and continue toward Meknes. Visit Bab Mansour and El Hedim Square before proceeding to Volubilis. You will visit the remains of a Roman settlement extend across open countryside.


Continue to Rabat, arriving in the afternoon. Visits include the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.


The following day follows the Atlantic south before returning to Marrakech.

Leave Rabat and travel along the Atlantic coast toward Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque before continuing onward.


Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, returning to the city center for a final evening.


The final day allows for a quiet close to the journey.

Depending on your schedule, enjoy time at leisure before your private transfer to Marrakech Airport.


The journey concludes with a final sense of continuity—shaped by changing landscapes, shifting rhythms, and a gradual progression through Morocco’s many layers
